New York City is an important financial hub in the United States. Located in New York City is Wall Street, the most well-known stock exchange in the world. Millions of dollars change hands there every day. With so much economic exchange occuring, there is a large need for national and international banks which the city also provides. New York City is also the home of the former World Trade Center, which was an important landmark and home to many national and international firms. Today, however, the World Trade Center towers are destroyed and on the city skyline one will see the Empire State Building. Like the World Trade Center, the Empire State Building houses hundreds, if not thousands of businesses, further promoting New York City's sweltering economic climate.
ReplyDeleteA good example of a strong paragraph with a topic sentence that lets readers know what will be the subject of the paragraph and a concluding sentence which sums up your argument.
